Are you looking for something to insure your child’s love of music?  This is it!  EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC provides a great introduction to music and an excellent background for future instrumental study.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC is a specialized form of music education designed for children between the ages of four and seven.  Music is a meaningful part of a quality childhood education.  In this program, children have the opportunity to explore a variety of activities that provide positive musical experiences for the growing, active child.  Through these experiences, they develop an enthusiasm for music which can last the rest of their lives.

Music, movement, and creativity are natural elements of the young child’s environment.  EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC incorporates the use of rhythm, language, melody, listening, music reading, and piano skills which, when put together, provide a unique program.  Children discover contrasts in pitch, rhythm, and mood through tone games, action songs, and physical movement.  They have the opportunity to play a variety of pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments including Orff tone bar instruments and resonator bells.  Students receive basic piano skills and preparation for future instrumental study.
